My first time just running the half marathon here. I started with the 1:30:00 group but had to pull off for a bathroom stop after first mile. Legs were heavy and the miles weren't coming easy. Breezy day and I had to take the wind on by myself after losing the pace group. Miles 7-10 were the only ones that seemed difficult due to wind. Last 3 went well. Roger picked me up for the last 1/4 mile to the finish. He said he was off on the side of the road with asmatha attack. It was a good training run coming off the beatings I took from long trail races, Rocky Raccoon 100 and the Georgia Death Race the past 2 months. |
